Again, Fires Hit Home in Palangkaraya

After a fire in Palangkaraya, Central Kalimantan, on Thursday, the accident happen again today. A house in Jalan Tandang Waterford, Palangkaraya burning but the fire can be extinguished quickly and did not cause casualties.

According to the Head of the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) Fire Palangkaraya, Henry Berlison, Friday (26/10/2012), a fire allegedly caused by a short circuit. The fire occurred around 12:00 and around 13:30 pm was extinguished.

We get a report from the fire. A total of two fire engines were brought. Fire burns roof and ceiling. But the fire was too big, says Henry. Losses estimated value of approximately USD 2-3 million. Firefighters were deployed numbered eight.

Fire officials UPTD Palangkaraya mean it did not meet obstacles when dealing with fire. The source of water coming from their car enough to put out the fire. Earlier, a fire occurred in Palangkaraya, Thursday (25/10/2012).

Accident burned seven houses and killed a toddler named Erna 2.5 years old. When the fire took place, Erna was asleep and caught fire. The fire occurred in the rear Kahayan market, namely Jalan Jalan Mendawai Mendawai VII and VIII.
